Why I am getting several msgs on my phone,
Why my orkut scrap book is ringing with new tone;
Why several new mails are arriving with colorful pics,
Why kids are busy lighting crackers and gunpowder sticks;
Isn't it just another maniac Monday,
Oh God ! It’s a new year day !!!
They say we will dance,rock and party,
Open wine bottles and get fully dirty;
Even if it’s a chilling night of 3 degrees and dying crops,
And someone else is dying for few warm water drops;
Isn't it just another maniac Monday,

Zidane headbutted Materazzi ….Who cares?
Mittal acquired Arcelor ….. Who cares?
Saddam Hussain executed….. Who cares?
Sensex skyrocketing like anything……Who cares?
For me, it is just another maniac Monday,

Nicely written. Well said!!! We have to do something, and need to take action.
But how?
A critic in me wants to say something more :)
There might be zillions writing about something should be done.
Differentiate yourself by actually doing it, remember it is the toughest part, and the most important too.
Hope your actions speak louder than your words.
